Dr. Rodriguez sees patients of all ages in the Blue Bell, Jenkintown and Pottstown locations.

Gil Rodriguez, MD is a Senior Physician and Director with Allergy and Asthma Specialists, P.C., a group practice with eight locations in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. He has practiced as a Board Certified Allergist since 1974.

He received his Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Interned at the University of Puerto Rico Hospital in Pediatrics and completed his Residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. In addition, he fulfilled Fellowships in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, and in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, at the University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Diseases. Prior to joining Allergy & Asthma Specialists in 1997, he was the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond for many years.

Dr. Rodriguez is certified by the American Board of Allergy & Immunology, the American Board of Pediatrics and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association, Philadelphia Allergy Society, a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

In the past, he has been involved in over 100 clinical research studies for numerous pharmaceutical companies.  Dr. Rodriguez has presented numerous professional lectures and has co-authored 35 articles and 46 abstracts published in the Annals of Allergy, Journal of Pediatrics, Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and Immunology and Allergy Clinics in North America, to name a few.
