William Spiegel, M.D. is a Senior Physician and Director with Allergy & Asthma Specialists, P.C., a group practice with eight locations in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. He has practiced as a Board Certified Allergist since 1989.

Dr. Spiegel received his Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and his Medical Degree from the Temple University. His medical training continued at the University of Maryland Hospital where he was a Resident in Pediatrics. He was an officer in the United States Air Force for four years, attaining the rank of Major. He then became a Fellow in the Division of Adult and Pediatric Allergy & Immunology at Thomas Jefferson Hospital. Dr. Spiegel is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a member of the Pennsylvania Allergy and Asthma Association and the Philadelphia Allergy Society.

Dr. Spiegel is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy & Immunology. In the past years, he has been involved in over 100 clinical research studies for a number of pharmaceutical companies conducting many double blinded, placebo controlled trials.

He has co-authored over 17 articles that have appeared in Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, and Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He has presented at least 10 papers and has conducted numerous professional and community-based lectures.
